In Serbia, forested mountain ranges alternate with flat river landscapes. They ensure that there is something to suit every camping taste. The area around the Danube is particularly popular. The mighty river runs like a ribbon through the entire country from north-west to east. Travellers often make a detour to one of the monasteries in the Fruška Gora low mountain range or to the Đerdap National Park on the border with Romania. The northern province of Vojvodina is characterised by diverse landscapes and a wide range of campsites. In the west of Serbia, the Tara National Park attracts visitors with its hiking trails and numerous camping options.
