The Zaton Holiday Resort campsite is located near the well-known holiday resort of Zadar and offers around 1,100 well-equipped pitches in a park-like holiday complex by the sea. The pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes measure between 80m² and 120m² and offer fresh water and waste water connections as well as electricity. Perfectly situated in the shade of the pine trees, guests can look forward to plenty of space and privacy. Airport transfers from Zadar can be arranged on request. In addition to pitches, the family-friendly resort also offers rental accommodation and holiday flats. The accommodation units measure up to 60m² and can accommodate up to six guests. The accommodation is equipped with a kitchenette, a double bedroom, a sofa bed and air conditioning and leaves nothing to be desired. There are also over 300 superbly equipped and modern mobile homes in the camping village. The premium class accommodation units are suitable for up to seven people. Nothing stands in the way of a luxurious camping holiday with the whole family. There are also several modern sanitary facilities throughout the campsite, as well as barbecue and dishwashing facilities. Campers can buy everyday necessities, camping accessories and food in the large shopping street.

Private sandy beach and huge pool area

One of the highlights of the Zaton Holiday Resort is the fantastic private beach, which stretches over 1.5 kilometres and slopes gently into the water of the beautiful bay. Unlike most beaches in Croatia, there is a section of sand here as well as a pebble beach. This makes it an ideal and safe swimming paradise for children. The entire beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, which stands for particularly good water quality. Guests can also relax in the water away from the sandy bay on the beach. The huge pool area offers several swimming pools for adults, sports swimmers and a children's pool. There are also three smaller pools with hydromassages for non-swimmers, a water slide and a large sun deck. The sports and leisure facilities on the campsite are even more extensive. Beach volleyball courts and sports fields for team sports such as football, volleyball and basketball make sports enthusiasts' hearts beat faster, while the mini golf course and pedal boating are very popular with families. There are also several sports schools where holidaymakers can learn horse riding, diving or tennis. Snorkelling courses and surfing lessons are also offered. There is an entertainment programme for children in summer with a mini disco, kids' club and mini driving school. In the evenings, live music, dance evenings, karaoke and show programmes ensure a good mood. Those who like to dance and need a bit of practice can learn their first steps at the dance school.

Excursions around the Zaton Holiday Resort

Conveniently, there is a bike hire service at the campsite where children and adults can find the right bike for them. Afterwards, nothing stands in the way of a tour of the charming surrounding area, for example to the harbour town of Zadar. This popular holiday resort on the Adriatic is just 15 kilometres from the Zaton Holiday Resort and is particularly notable for its cultural and historical heritage and beautiful old town. The famous Plitvice Lakes National Park is also within easy reach. The unique landscape of 16 lakes connected by cascades is one of Croatia's most impressive natural spectacles and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

New from July 2025: A brand new, large pool complex covering 2,500 square meters with a large children's pool, various attractions and water slides, as well as a bar and restaurant.
