Access route
If you are coming from the south, take the E14 past Östersund towards Krokomsporten and then Fiskevägen (Road 340) towards Valsjöbyn. Turn at Storholmsjö into the wilderness towards Ansättfjällen and drive approximately 20 km through the forest and vast marshlands to Åkersjön. Turn left down to the lake and campsite, just after the Hotel Fjällgården, where you will be welcomed by our large wooden sign to wonderful days in the mountain world!
