Elongated, flat meadow area between the River Inn (with a busy road on the other side) and a few houses at the foot of a wooded slope. One part of the site is predominantly without vegetation, the other part is broken up by some tall deciduous trees. View of the Kaunertal glacier.

Its own climbing wall, direct river location on the Inn and a bubbling healing spring: these three aspects alone make Aktiv-Camping Prutz unique. Open all year round, the campsite in the Austrian province of Tyrol attracts active holidaymakers, dog owners and families with children and offers a friendly atmosphere and a wide range of leisure activities in both summer and winter.
The popular campsite is located in the municipality of Prutz and offers its guests a high standard and a high level of comfort. Great emphasis is placed on clean sanitary facilities, hospitality and a wide range of services. The layout of the campsite is also impressive. The centrepiece is the main building, which houses the showers and bathrooms as well as the reception and a small pub. The opening hours of the pub vary depending on the season, but freshly brewed coffee is almost always available. Campsite guests can also order savoury snacks and regional delicacies here. On summer days, holidaymakers like to make themselves comfortable on the restaurant terrace and take in the lush greenery and surrounding mountain peaks while enjoying a freshly tapped beer. The 2.5-hectare Aktiv-Camping Prutz at an altitude of 866 metres has 115 pitches. Thanks to this manageable number, holidaymakers quickly come into contact with each other, get to know like-minded people and exchange everyday tips for motorhoming. Dogs are very welcome here and enjoy a refreshing dip in the Inn, especially in the summer months. There are even dog showers on site. There are also pitches of different sizes to choose from, such as the comfort pitches with an area of 60² to 85 square metres and the premium pitches with plots of 90 to 120 square metres. The leisure area with the playground and beach volleyball courts is located in the southern part of the campsite, not far from the climbing crag and the Sauerbrunn spring.
Relaxing is one option at Aktiv-Camping Prutz, but the focus is on sporting activities. The on-site climbing crag alone has seven different courses, six of which are ideal for newcomers to outdoor sports. Guided hikes take place regularly during the summer and in winter a free shuttle to various ski areas is available to camping holidaymakers. With 212 kilometres of pistes, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis winter sports area is one of the largest ski areas in the region and also caters to the interests of cross-country skiers and tobogganers. If you are still missing the right ski equipment or a pair of high-quality hiking boots, you will find suitable equipment suppliers in the nearby centre of Prutz.
