This family-friendly campsite in the Dutch province of Zeeland is located between lush green polders and the charming Scheldt beach. It is around 2 km from the centre of Baarland and is only separated from the campsite's own 400 m long sandy beach by a road and the dyke. On the 17-hectare site, which is divided by hedges, 16 motorhome pitches have a paved surface. The total of 200 pitches are 100 to 150 square metres in size and are equipped with TV, electricity and water connections and some even have a private shower or whirlpool. The well-paved paths and barrier-free sanitary facilities make the campsite perfect for people with limited mobility. Guests can buy food in the supermarket. Catering is provided by the Strandbrasserie de Landing. Scheldo's children's restaurant spoils you with a special children's buffet. Ardoer Comfortcamping Scheldeoord delights families with an exciting entertainment programme during the holidays. Dance workshops, craft sessions and a bouncy castle party are just some of the highlights. The outdoor pool, heated with solar energy, is also a favourite meeting place. There is fun to be had on the large water slide and in the paddling pool, while the indoor pool offers swimming fun whatever the weather. Sports enthusiasts can perfect their forehand and backhand on the tennis court. Exciting excursion destinations around the campsite

Thanks to the excellent wind conditions, the Schelde beach is a favourite meeting place for kitesurfers. The holiday region also offers numerous opportunities for sporting activities on land. Active holidaymakers can hire modern bikes directly at the campsite. For example, you can head north to Nisse, around 11 kilometres away. The landscape around the village of De Zak is particularly picturesque due to the numerous flower dykes. A boat trip to the Westerschelde organised by the campsite is also interesting: numerous seals sunbathe here at low tide. Families also enjoy a trip to the Het Arsenaal theme park in Vlissingen, 35 kilometres away. Here, everything revolves around the theme of pirates. There is also a fascinating aquarium where you can see tropical fish.
