Just 15 minutes from the architectural jewels of Turin, Aviglianalacs Camping & Family Park in Avigliana offers the perfect holiday programme for nature and culture fans. Tickets for the royal castles and Turin's museums can be booked directly at the campsite. A shuttle bus runs twice a day to the former Benedictine monastery Sacra di San Michele, which towers on a mountain spur above the region. The lakes of Avigliana in the immediate vicinity are perfect for hiking. The pitches for caravans have electricity and WLAN. Many have a marvellous view of the small lake. After a day in the countryside or a sightseeing tour, guests like to meet up in the Osteria del Lago, the campsite's cosy restaurant.
