Noise level is definitely not tolerable.
I'll keep it brief: The parking spot in the first row at the wide beach is unacceptable. It's noisy here from early morning until late at night and almost unbearable. We definitely won't be coming back.

An Imposition at Night
At this moment we find ourselves at the square. Why this square should deserve five stars is not clear to me. Perhaps it has something to do with the wellness area. Otherwise, it is indeed a very nice place for a vacation, but a pool would be a good thing (5-star places usually have that). But well,… More

Aimed at families with children, the campsite offers direct access to a bay with a fine sandy beach and is situated on a partly terraced, partly level site covering an area of 45 hectares in the middle of a pine forest. The 1,200 pitches are generously sized and offer protection from prying eyes thanks to hedges, shrubs and trees.
The pitches for caravans and tents are mostly shaded by trees. Pitches directly by the sea are protected from the sun by a thatched roof. The pitches have waste water disposal facilities and a large number also have water and electricity supplies. There is also a separate area for motorhome pitches with their own waste water disposal.
Those not travelling with a motorhome or caravan will find a place to stay in the cosy mobile homes and bungalows. The rental accommodation is fully equipped with its own bathroom, separate toilet, fitted kitchen, microwave and TV, making for an uncomplicated camping holiday with every comfort. Campers also benefit from amenities such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers and free Wi-Fi. Families can use their own sanitary facilities for children and the separate baby changing room.
Pets such as dogs and cats are allowed on the site on presentation of a pet licence, but not in the high season in July and August. In the rental accommodation, such as bungalows and mobile homes, holiday guests are generally not allowed to bring pets.
Camp du Domaine is the perfect place for families travelling with their children. The campsite is designated as particularly child-friendly and has some great playgrounds, a mini club, a non-swimmers' area and circus and puppet shows. The activities are supervised by trained youth leaders so that the youngsters are in the best hands at all times.
Parents don't have to be bored either. There is an extensive range of sports and leisure activities on the campsite. Active holidaymakers can take part in numerous sports such as football, tennis and beach volleyball, keep in shape with fitness classes or get into conversation with other holiday guests at the typical French game of boules.
Water sports and water sports activities are particularly popular at Camp du Domaine. The programme includes water sports such as windsurfing, pedal boating and water skiing, and there is also a sailing and diving club close to the campsite. In addition to canoe and kayak tours, the Camp du Domaine also offers diving courses where guests can explore the Port-Cros Maritime National Park. This colourful underwater paradise is part of the idyllic Golden Islands and is one of the best places for diving and snorkelling in the entire Mediterranean thanks to its breathtaking abundance of fish. Dives for all ages also start in Bormes-les-Mimosas.
If you don't want to dive, you can also simply relax on the beautiful fine sandy beach, sunbathe and enjoy the fantastic view of the offshore islands of the Port-Cros National Park. The wide, approximately 750 metre long sandy beach is located in a bay bordered by rocks and slopes gently so that even younger guests can swim safely.
However, the leisure activities on offer are not limited to the beach. The evening entertainment programme is popular with young and old alike, with events such as cabaret, dance evenings and karaoke. Massages are offered in the beauty department. The all-round service is rounded off by two restaurants on the premises, a clubhouse and a wine cellar.
The beautiful surroundings of the Var department invite you to go on extensive exploratory tours. We particularly recommend the guided hikes and excursions organised by the campsite to Cannes, Grasse and the rocky coves of Cassis. An insider tip for sure-footed hikers is the long route from Cassis to Marseille: a lonely rocky path leads along the Mediterranean Sea through the Calanques National Park.
The Sentier du Littoral coastal hiking trail is also a dream, especially the Plage de la Fossette section near the village of Le Lavandou. Visitors can stock up on fresh local produce at the weekly market in Le Lavandou, from where boats also leave for the idyllic Hyeres Islands (Îles d'Hyères) in the Port-Cros National Park. This dreamlike trio of islands is a true paradise for lovers of the countryside and nature, who can relax on the quiet beaches and enjoy the magnificent natural surroundings with all their senses. The island of Levant is a real insider tip, especially for naturists.
