If you want to spend a carefree break with your own horse, Camp Hammer is the place for you. The campsite attracts families with playgrounds and a swimming area at the nearby stream. There are also nature experience programmes for young and old throughout the year.
Surrounded by the dense forests and hills of the Eifel, Camp Hammer is located by the babbling Rur. Beautiful pitches with electricity await guests. Those who want to send holiday photos home directly from the pitch can book WLAN. Self-catering guests can buy bread rolls and groceries in the small shop on site. The well-equipped guest kitchen has an ice chest, fridge, microwave and hob. Bistro Der Hammer serves tarte flambée, steaks and many other delicacies, while the fun children's programme at Camp Hammer includes pony walks through the forest, cooking together and an exciting mushroom hunt. There is also a large playground to keep them active. If the weather is not suitable for outdoor activities, the little ones can meet up in the nursery. On hot days, water lovers can cool off on the pebble beach on the Rur. The campsite offers horse owners a very special experience: they can take their four-legged friends on holiday to the Eifel National Park. The animals live in a pasture with shelter and a paddock. Thanks to its location directly on the bridleway network, you can head straight out into nature from the campsite.
