Between the Black Sea and the vibrant metropolis of Istanbul, Camp Rumelifeneri Istanbul is the ideal place to spend a holiday rich in nature and culture in western Turkey. The caravan camp, which is surrounded by pine and fruit trees and has barbecue facilities and a children's playground, is located in the tranquil village of Rumelifeneri in the municipality of Sarıyer/İstanbul. At harvest time, there is the unrivalled pleasure of nibbling the fruit growing on the campsite directly from the branch. Dense forests all around invite you to go hiking. The Ottoman fortress Rumeli Feneri Topçu Kalesi, built into a rock, is just 1 km away and offers magnificent views of the coast and the blue sea. Around 35 km to the south, Istanbul beckons with sights such as the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapı Palace.
