Great camp for an active holiday.
The location of the camp is top-notch, the facilities at the camp are good, and the starting point for hiking and cycling is excellent. The camp was extremely crowded, and at the sanitary facilities, one had to wait in line to take a shower.

Camp Špik is located in the middle of unspoilt nature in the north of Slovenia and is ideal for hikers who want to explore the nearby mountains on their own. At the same time, the resort offers several spa facilities and is also ideal for holidaymakers who want to spend some quiet time in a picturesque setting.
The campsite is located just a few hundred metres south of the Sava, Slovenia's largest river, which can be easily reached on foot from here. Camp Špik is located in the northern part of the Triglavski narodni park, which borders Italy to the west, at an altitude of 743 metres. Travellers therefore only need a few minutes by car to reach the Italian or Austrian border. There are tall conifers in the immediate vicinity, which surround the campsite on all sides and create a special atmosphere. There are a total of 200 pitches here, all of which are large enough. Camp Špik is equipped with modern sanitary facilities, washing machines and free Wi-Fi, thanks to which travellers are always connected to the internet, even on holiday. There is a small snack bar on site as well as a grocery shop that stocks everything you need for catering on site. In general, there is a relaxed, sociable atmosphere at the resort, which makes it easy to socialise with other guests. Certain activities are regularly organised for all travellers, with hikes and organised rafting tours being particularly popular.
In the immediate vicinity, the Slovenian Alps are ideal for long hikes and mountain climbing. Between December and March, there are also perfect conditions for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing, as the nearby pistes and cross-country ski trails can be reached quickly. The spa facilities promise complete peace and relaxation and are particularly popular with allergy sufferers thanks to the fresh mountain climate. While the Sava invites you to take long walks, there are also popular excursion destinations for shorter car journeys in Austria and Italy. We recommend day trips to Lake Wörthersee or the Mediterranean coast. The latter is just 100 kilometres to the south and invites you to sunbathe and swim in its turquoise waters, especially in the summer months between June and September.
