Campeggio al Lago has been delighting visitors since the 1960s with its location directly on crystal-clear Lake Ledro. Surrounded by the densely wooded Lake Garda mountains, the campsite offers a refuge for active holidaymakers and those seeking peace and quiet. There is also a bathing area for dogs. Families also enjoy splashing around in the lake or meeting up in the playground. The campsite is an ideal starting point for trekking or cycling tours in the charming Trentino region.
Just 800 metres from the centre of Pieve di Ledros on the north-western shore of Lake Ledro, Campeggio al Lago offers direct access to the pebble beach. Old trees provide shade on the 1.1 hectare flat grassy site. In addition to 100 pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents with free Wi-Fi and electricity, there are also spacious and fully equipped mobile homes. The multilingual staff with a wealth of experience cater to guests' wishes and create a cosy atmosphere. The Ristorante Bar Pizzeria is a great place to meet up, serving pizza from the stone oven, fish and meat dishes as well as vegetarian options and fine wines. In the light-flooded conservatory, house music provides regular entertainment. You can splash around and relax on the shores of Lake Ledro. Younger guests will also love the playground. A table tennis table also guarantees fun. Active holidaymakers have the option of hiring canoes at Campeggio al Lago. This takes you along the coast, with wonderful views of the densely wooded holiday region. There is also a bike hire service on site with a large selection of bikes for adults and children. Water sports enthusiasts can hire equipment or take a course at the sailing centre just a few metres from the campsite entrance.
If you would like to actively explore the hilly landscape around Campeggio al Lago, the helpful staff at reception can provide you with interesting tour tips. The campsite also has its own mountain guide. For example, the 9.5 km circular hike around Lake Ledro is well worthwhile. Soon after the start in Pieve di Ledro, the first attraction is the church of San Michele. The route continues along the shore to the eastern end of the lake with the charming village of Molina. Here, visitors can admire finds from the Bronze Age and replicas of historic stilt houses in the pile-dwelling museum.
