Camping Abadesses is located in the picturesque municipality of Sant Joan de les Abadesses in the Pyrenees near the French border in Spain. Sant Joan de les Abadesses has its biggest attraction, the Sant Joan monastery, in its name. Like the pretty village, the campsite is surrounded by forest. The whole region is ideal for great hikes or cycle tours. The Garrotxa Volcanoes Nature Reserve is around 20 kilometres from the campsite. Camping Abadesses itself has a pool, a children's playground and a lovely garden with barbecue facilities. There is also free WLAN and a bar. The dream beaches of the Costa Brava are also just an hour's drive away.
