Very goodCàmping l'Albera in Alt Empordà in northern Spain offers nature lovers wonderful views of the Catalan Pyrenees, peaceful accommodation in the middle of the forest and a relaxing atmosphere. As a dog-friendly campsite with a swimming pool, it ensures a pleasant camping holiday. Ideally located between Autopista AP-7 and Carretera Nacional N-II, it is ideal as an oasis of peace when travelling through or for a longer stay. Excursion destinations such as the village of Capmany and the town of Figueres make it the perfect location for cultural and wine excursions.

In a quiet, panoramic location, Càmping l'Albera entices nature lovers to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the northern Spanish wine region of Alt Empordà.
In the unspoilt Empordà region in north-eastern Spain, Càmping l'Albera invites you to enjoy nature at the foothills of the Catalan Pyrenees. The campsite, which is open all year round, is situated in a very quiet location in the middle of a dense forest of old holm oaks. The AP-7 motorway and the Carretera Nacional N-II national road are not far away, making the campsite ideal for a stopover on the way south. The unspoilt holiday resort is also ideal for a longer stay. If you want to explore the Serra de l'Albera mountain range in the border region with France on a hike or simply relax in the vicinity of the mountains, Càmping l'Albera is the place for you. The nearest town is the small village of Capmany, which exudes natural charm with its quaint sandstone houses and the church of Santa Àgata. Capmany's most famous attraction is the Dolmen del Quer Afumat, a megalithic burial site from the first half of the 3rd millennium B.C. The village has also made a name for itself far beyond the province of Girona with its wines, which are grown here under the D.O. Empordà designation of origin. Empordà designation of origin. Wine tastings and guided tours of the region's wineries are a must. In the reception building of Càmping l'Albera, guests will also find a restaurant and bar area with drinks and snacks on offer.
Càmping l'Albera is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. It has a terraced, partly gently sloping, partly undulating site with mobile homes for hire and spacious pitches for caravans and motorhomes. Water and electricity connections are available directly at the site. The sanitary facilities offer showers as well as facilities for washing and drying laundry. The 7.5-hectare dog-friendly site is surrounded by beautiful walking trails that invite you to explore nature at length. Back at the campsite, you can refresh yourself in the site's own outdoor pool and enjoy a swim with a view of the greenery. There are surrounding terraces for sunbathing. There are also table tennis tables and a pool table for fun. Càmping l'Albera is also a perfect starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. Around 14 kilometres further south, the town of Figueres lies in a river plain. It is not only the capital of the Alt Empordà, but also a mecca for art lovers. The Spanish painter Salvador Dalí was born here and you can follow in his colourful, surrealist footsteps at the Teatre Museu. The ruins of Empúries on the Gulf of Roses take you on a journey back in time to ancient times.
