Camping Campeggio Baia Verde is located on the Mediterranean coast of the province of Grosseto in the Italian region of Tuscany. On a clear day, holidaymakers have a view of the island of Elba, which is part of the Tuscan archipelago. The nearest larger municipality is just under 14 kilometres away. This is Castiglione della Pescaia, which is home to more than 7,200 inhabitants. The small town is rich in historical sights, including the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista church from the 11th century. The entire campsite has a total of 1,050 parcelled-out pitches, which are between 60 and 80 m² in size. There are also 62 rental accommodations and 105 pitches for permanent campers on a total area of 20 hectares. In Panta Ala, the next district of the town, visitors can take a look at the tourist marina. Windsurfing is also very popular along the Mediterranean coast and is also offered by local schools for beginners.
