Camping Barétous Pyrénées is located in the popular holiday region of Novelle-Aquitaine. Some of the plots, which are spread across meadows, are separated by hedges. Tall trees provide shade. There are also huts and lodge tents. Guests enjoy swimming in the heated pool. The Well-Being Chalet combines camping and wellness: a sauna and a whirlpool are available here. The campsite also organises themed evenings and has a bike hire service and a grocery shop.

Camping Barétous Pyrénées is an ideal starting point for sightseeing tours. The town of Oloron-Sainte-Marie is around 15 kilometres away, directly on the Gave d'Oloron. Saint-Marie Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its valuable church treasures. The former royal city of Pau is also worth a visit. The peaks of the Pyrenees can already be seen during the 47 kilometre drive from the campsite. The view from the 1.8 km long Boulevard des Pyrenees, the most famous street in Pau, is particularly beautiful. A tour of the medieval castle brings the past to life. If you like hiking, Haut-Béarn is the place for you: the Aspe and Barétous valleys are criss-crossed by well-signposted hiking trails.
