Never again!
The initial contact was good, but on-site it was unfortunately the exact opposite. The caravan just fits on the spot. An additional tent is already difficult. If you're lucky, you can park the car nearby; otherwise, it's 500 meters away in the parking lot. The parking spots directly in front of our … More

Fairground instead of campsite
We have been to this site several times and have always been satisfied. The sanitary facilities are new and clean. The site is very large and has pitches, both by the sea (very crowded and tight) and in the back green area, pleasant and quiet for us, were it not for the loud party music until late i… More

For us, it was that
For several years, we have been visiting this place and have always been satisfied. Currently, we have some points of criticism; a large number of e-scooters and e-bikes on the beach promenade of the campsite; fairground atmosphere due to loud music; staff not self-assured and partly unfriendly - th… More

Camping Bijela Uvala is a beautiful family campsite on the Adriatic coast. Located not far from the holiday resort of Poreč, the pitches offer plenty of space and a great environment for a relaxing camping holiday in nature. Numerous leisure activities and the fantastic beach make the site the perfect place to spend the summer in one of Croatia's most popular holiday regions.
The 4.5 -star campsite, which is open seasonally from June to October, is located on the Croatian peninsula of Istria, 5 km south of Poreč. A bus stop is 50 metres from the campsite. Camping Bijela Uvala is the perfect destination for water rats, beach lovers and families, as the terraced campsite offers direct access to the sea.
The beach is divided into several sections with a pebble beach, gravel beach and grassy beach and offers plenty of sunbathing areas in the pretty little bays. The crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic are a dream, especially in summer, and are ideal for relaxed swimming and snorkelling. Alternatively, you can relax in the large water park with four freshwater pools and a children's pool. There is a separate section of beach for campers with dogs.
The spacious grounds of the Bijela Uvala campsite offer holidaymakers plenty of room to spread out with 1,651 pitches, 1,051 of which are parcelled out. The luxury pitches with a direct view of the azure Adriatic Sea are particularly popular. The pitches with plots have a surface area of 70 to 110 m² and are mostly equipped with their own electricity and water connections. Showers, sinks and washbasins in the sanitary facilities have hot water. Campers without motorhomes can stay in the modern and fully equipped mobile homes. The rental accommodation is equipped with its own air conditioning and has a terrace where you can relax in summer. All guests of the camping village can use the WLAN internet access free of charge throughout the site.
Three restaurants with local specialities, a beach bar or snack bar cater for the physical well-being of holiday guests. If you don't want to eat out every evening, you can prepare your favourite dish at one of the many public barbecue areas. Self-catering guests can shop in the well-stocked supermarket. For guests travelling by boat, there is a boat landing stage near the beach boulevard. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired on the beach.
Camping Bijela Uvala is dog-friendly and allows pets. There is even a small section of beach for dog owners. The sanitary facilities have also been designed with four-legged companions in mind: In the dog bathing room with dog showers, the animals can be cleaned up after a run. Bijela Uvala is therefore a real insider tip for camping with dogs in Istria.
As a particularly family-friendly campsite, Camping Bijela Uvala offers a huge range of leisure activities. So you'll never be bored on your camping holiday in Istria! In the high season, the professional entertainment team with children's entertainment in the mini club ensures a good mood. While the little ones play under the watchful eyes of the entertainers, adults can take advantage of the wide range of sports on offer.
Tennis, windsurfing, horse riding and numerous water sports activities are just some of the options. Sports lovers will get their money's worth here. A mini-golf course, sports tournaments, swimming pool games, a bike hire station and regular evening activities round off the entertainment programme.
Diving off the Istrian Riviera, bungee jumping in the Poreč marina or shopping on the Decumanus promenade: there is also plenty to discover outside the camping village. For cycling and hiking enthusiasts, we recommend a tour of the Limski Nature Park. Those travelling with the whole family should plan a visit to the Funtana Dinopark and the Aquacolors water park.
The surrounding villages and towns also offer a wide range of events. Whether it's the traditional Mandalenjina folk festival in July or classical music performances in the cool halls of the Euphrasian Basilica - holidaymakers are warmly invited to the numerous festivities organised by the locals. Speaking of the basilica: as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the imposing episcopal complex, which was built in the 6th century, is the most important sight in Poreč.
