Great camping with an idyllic swimming lake
Super campsite, beautiful Woodlodge The kiosk is overpriced, unfriendly, and poorly stocked. But you aren't dependent on it. There are plenty of shopping options nearby.

A really nice campsite
We were here for a few days as we were traveling on short notice and everything was quite booked up at that time. We were welcomed very warmly and assigned a spot. Already during the drive around the site, we noticed that the place is much nicer than we had imagined from the pictures. Very well-main… More

Great camping site
Great camping site. Clear and slightly refreshing bathing lake, ideal for stand-up paddling and swimming. Very friendly staff and good restaurant. Children’s animation is now optimal during the summer holidays. We would gladly come back.

Great family holiday
Great family vacation. Many attractions nearby. Place clean and quiet. 2 weeks in summer with loving children's animation. Restaurant very good. There is a guest fishing lake. The swimming lake was not suitable for us with small children - directly deep water. Very nice staff. We will come back.

Camping Christophorus welcomes its guests in a natural setting right next to a bathing lake. The family-friendly campsite in a quiet location in Kirchberg an der Iller is an attractive starting point for an active holiday in the Illertal valley in Baden-Württemberg and offers a small wellness area with swimming pool and sauna as a highlight.
The Sinninger bathing lake and two other smaller lakes surround the Camping Christophorus campsite. The pitches are spread over a large meadow area along the water. Some of the sunny pitches are in the first row directly on the lakeside path behind the lake. Individual hedges and bushes partially parcel out the pitches. Bungalows, huts and caravans for hire are available as alternative accommodation. In the warm summer months, guests can enjoy pure bathing fun in the lakes with sunbathing lawns. In cooler temperatures, the campsite's own swimming pool is the highlight for water lovers. A special feature is the wellness area with solarium, bio sauna, Finnish sauna, Kneipp pool, massage loungers and relaxation area. The campsite is ideal for family holidays with its large children's playground and summer children's entertainment. A game of mini golf, table tennis, volleyball or a round of football on the multi-purpose sports field is fun for the whole family and offers the opportunity to socialise with other campsite guests.
The restaurant with its cosy lounge is the meeting place at Camping Christophorus. With its Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, it is a tasty alternative to self-catering. The bowling alley attached to the restaurant promises sociable fun. Guests also enjoy socialising at various events, such as the annual Easter bonfire and baking bread on sticks, where they can quickly make new contacts with like-minded people. Guests can pre-order bread rolls to start the day if they wish. Everyday necessities, food and snacks are available in the campsite's own mini shop and kiosk. The campsite is located in the neighbourhood of the River Iller. The cycle path along the river is a great way to explore the surrounding area on two wheels. Kirchberg an der Iller is 2.5 km away. The nearest town with plenty of shopping and dining options as well as a charming old town is Memmingen, 25 km away. Ulm is 40 km away for a city trip and is worth a visit with sights such as Ulm Minster and Ulm Zoo, which is interesting for families. Whether relaxing by the lake with sunbathing lawn or in the sauna area or being active with bowling or a game of table tennis: Camping Christophorus offers a mix of a relaxing holiday right by the bathing lake and many active leisure activities on the site and in the surrounding area for the whole family. One highlight is the campsite's own swimming pool for swimming fun whatever the weather. Changing events and children's entertainment ensure that there is never a dull moment.
