Camping De Bovenberg in the Dutch municipality of Markelo is located in the idyllic nature reserve de Borkeld, right next to a lake. The campsite is a great starting point for hiking or cycling tours through the beautiful region and offers a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere. You can swim in the lake or in the indoor and outdoor swimming pools 3.5 kilometres away. There are outdoor playgrounds and indoor playgrounds for children. They also enjoy great entertainment. Beach volleyball can be played and there is a golf course 15 km away. A snack bar and kiosk including a bread roll service take care of catering and the nearest grocery shop and supermarket are 5 km away.
Friendly-operated, quiet and close-to-nature camping site, beautifully laid out, great for cycling.
