Close to the holiday resorts of Ommen and Hardenberg in the Dutch province of Overijssel, De Camping De Kleine Wolf is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest. The 28-hectare, flat site is divided by trees and hedges and offers several pitches with fresh water, waste water and electricity connections. The pitches in the shade offer plenty of space and privacy thanks to the parcelling out of the pitches. Glamping is a particular focus on this site. A charming holiday cabin as accommodation with different occupancy levels is becoming increasingly popular with guests. First-class facilities and service leave nothing to be desired. Family campsite with an entertaining leisure programme

There are three car-free zones on the family-friendly campsite. Particularly popular with families, the campsite boasts more than 20 playgrounds and sports fields. At weekends and during the school holidays, an entertainment team keeps the youngest guests entertained. The leisure programme with craft lessons in the Krea-Club, theatre performances and themed days such as Farmer looking for a cow or Pippi Longstocking will delight all age groups. The little ones also love the animal enclosure, where kangaroos and goats can be stroked. Teenagers enjoy taking part in the activities at the Wolvenhonk youth club, which range from survival training to sporting competitions. Swimming fun is guaranteed at any time of year at Camping De Kleine Wolf's own aquapark. With rapids, bubble benches and a slide, the indoor pool provides fun whatever the weather. When the weather is nice, the palm-fringed outdoor pool or the small leisure lake on the grounds are a great attraction.

Excursions for active holidaymakers and nature lovers

Numerous cycling and hiking trails around Camping De Kleine Wolf invite you to go on active discovery tours. Close to the campsite is the Ommerbos forest with a fitness centre for strength training in the middle of nature. The cross-border Vechtdalpad, which connects Germany and the Netherlands, is ideal for longer tours. From Ommen, the route leads through forests and romantic heathland to Marienberg. Along the way, the Vecht often disappears behind metre-high dunes. Cyclists can pick up a map at the campsite reception with routes of between 10 and 30 kilometres. There is also a mountain bike route directly in the forest next to the campsite.
