The charming Camping de l'Eve site is just 100 metres from the beach.
Nestled in the marvellous landscape of the Loire-Atlantique region, the campsite extends over 7 hectares. The close proximity to the beach, which is easily accessible via a subway, makes this site a real gem. Gentle hills and shady hedges and trees structure the site. Camping de l'Eve also has an inviting open-air swimming pool and a small heated outdoor pool with a glass roof. Children in particular have a great time whizzing down the water slide and enjoy the regular entertainment programme. Sports enthusiasts can play tennis or table tennis. Dogs are welcome. In addition to pitches, the campsite also offers mobile homes for rent.
The romantic harbour town of Saint-Nazaire is just 1.5 km away. The Loire flows into the Atlantic here, which made this place attractive to settlers even in prehistoric times. This is evidenced not least by the towering menhirs, freestanding stone giants that friends of Asterix and Obelix know by the name of "menhirs". This indicates that this area has been inhabited since at least the Neolithic period. The Route Bleue also runs through here, along which eleven important megalithic monuments can be marvelled at. Anyone interested in submarines from the Second World War will find what they are looking for at the Écomusée de Saint-Nazaire.
