Camping Dishoek is located on the west coast of the sunny Dutch province of Walcheren, not far from the wide sandy beach. The leisure paradise is surrounded by wide dunes, lush meadows and green forests. Dogs are welcome on the 4.6-hectare site, which is divided by hedges. Guests are welcome to shop in the supermarket or pick up cool drinks and snacks at the snack bar. There is also an à la carte restaurant and a pizzeria for culinary delights. The wide, fine sandy beach is approx. 1 km from the campsite. Even small children can splash around here, as the water only gets deeper slowly. In between, holidaymakers with children can meet up at the playground or in the recreation room. During the summer holidays, the little ones have lots of fun thanks to the varied entertainment programme. There are craft workshops, mini disco and many sporting activities to choose from. Sports enthusiasts can hire a bike at the campsite and ride along the many dykes or through the vast dune landscapes. Middelburg, around 15 minutes' drive away, is ideal for an excursion. The Mini Mundi amusement park is an attraction for families. In addition to miniature buildings from the Walcheren region, numerous rides await them. Culture fans can visit the Zeeuws Museum, where traditional costumes worn by sailors and tapestries are on display.
