Camping El Helguero in Ruiloba welcomes its guests to the north coast of Spain in a hilly, beautiful natural landscape. The family-friendly campsite is just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Ruiloba and the beautiful sandy beaches such as Playa de Comillas, Playa de Oyambre and Playa de la Rabia. Those who prefer to swim without sand can use the campsite's own swimming pools or the heated indoor pool. There is also a children's pool and a lovely playground for younger holidaymakers to enjoy. The area around Ruiloba is ideal for long hikes and cycle tours in unspoilt nature. A trip to the spectacular Altamira caves is well worthwhile. Santander, the capital of Cantabria with its cathedral and royal summer palace, is also well worth a visit.
