never again Camp Galeb
The worst campsite filthy showers, non-draining urinals, overflowing trash bins, dirt everywhere on the site, WiFi only works occasionally, very unfriendly staff who are annoyed by complaints and make it evident, and almost twice as expensive as other sites - never again Camp Galeb ---- How does AD… More

Site in need of renewal
We had booked 2 nights for the return trip. After 1 night we left because we did not like the site at all. It is certainly a matter of taste. Our site was very uneven with many huge roots, dirt, and no separation from the neighboring site. The sanitary building is quite old, but it was mostly clean.… More

Too expensive for the quality over €100 per night with family
The view is great right on the coast and the tall trees provide excellent shade, the sanitary facilities are aging and too small, and the cleanliness is not optimal for 4 stars and the price

Never again!
Pool dirty, the pool liner is brown at the waterline, pretty much everything is floating in the pool, and the sanitary facilities are old, which isn’t too bad, but it is unbelievably dirty.

Well-located campsite directly by the sea
Sanitary facilities disgusting and dirty Men's urinal was full for days because it did not drain, hence the stench in the restroom Too few toilets, showers dirty, water does not drain in all showers so that you stand ankle-deep in water Beach poorly maintained, the whole site is poorly maintain… More

Good location - aging facilities - Expensive
Nice service at the reception and that was it! The pitches, although in the shade and horizontal, are unkempt. The sanitary facilities are in the 70s style and partly poorly maintained. The crowd is mixed and does not adhere, in part, to rudimentary camping rules, e.g. not walking on others' plots. … More

Spot in order
We were there for 3 nights in the low season. Be careful on arrival, a customer threatens with a contract, he simply did not want to, toilets and showers have aged but were clean, hot water was always available, nice city everything nearby. At departure, staff friendly, attentive, and helpful.
Very good

Camping Galeb is a four-star campsite right on the Croatian coast. Its location at the mouth of the river Cetina and the Adriatic coast makes it an excellent place for (water) sports enthusiasts and active people. Culture lovers are also in good hands here - in the immediate vicinity of the city of Split there are picturesque places and many cultural events.
Galeb is Croatian for seagull - and that's exactly what the campsite on the Croatian Adriatic coast feels like: sun, surf, beach, freedom, lightness. Camping Galeb has been awarded four stars and offers plenty of opportunities for active people. The campsite has 229 pitches for caravans, 131 of which have electricity and water connections. There are 14 pitches directly on the beach. Not only can you swim and get a tan by the sea, but you can also play beach volleyball, go motor boating and learn to sail or windsurf. There is also an outdoor pool and an indoor pool away from the beach. The sports facilities at the campsite also include football, tennis (with tennis school), table tennis, archery and a climbing centre. Children can let off steam in the campsite's inflatable water park or on the large playground. There is also a riding club for children. Campsite guests can relax in the wellness area, in the sauna or with a massage. A beach bar is open in the evenings where you can meet up and have a good time. If you are travelling with your dog, Camping Galeb is also the right place for you: Dogs are expressly allowed on the campsite. The four-legged friends can let off steam on a spacious designated dog beach.
Geographically speaking, Camping Galeb is located in Dalmatia, on the Adriatic coast in the small town of Omiš. Nestled against rugged, majestic cliffs, the town exudes the wild, old-fashioned charm of Dalmatia. The river Cetina flows into the sea in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. Active guests can book river rafting tours on the Cetina and experience real white water adventures. The next largest city, around 25 kilometres away, is the largest city in Dalmatia: Split, with a population of just under 170,000. It is culturally very interesting. Diocletian's Palace is an ancient imperial residence dating back to ancient Rome and was completed in 305 AD. It is a World Heritage Site and is definitely worth a visit.
