If you want to find out more about the animal species in Södermanland, pay a visit to Tyresta National Park, 20 kilometres from the campsite. There is a family-friendly nature trail here, which is 3 kilometres long and features information boards in Swedish and English about the regional flora and fauna. The unspoilt national park is enchanting with its primeval coniferous forests, clear lakes and rare birds such as capercaillie and owls.
