Located on the edge of an idyllic nature reserve, Camping Grassi favours simplicity without compromising on comfort. The leisurely murmur of the neighbouring river adds to the natural ambience. The fresh air and the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains guarantee relaxation. The campsite allows dogs and welcomes guests of all ages and at any time of year. A major plus point is the wide range of nearby excursion destinations, from the hiking paradise of the Kiental valley to the pyramid-shaped Niesen mountain. Almost 70 generously sized pitches are available for guests at Camping Grassi. The campsite is located on a terraced meadow area surrounded by wooded hills. A comfortable stay on the pitches is ensured by amenities such as electricity connections, sanitary facilities and WLAN throughout the site. While the children can let off steam in the adjacent playground, a trip to the outdoor and indoor swimming pool, which is around 1.5 kilometres away, is popular with young and old alike. Camping Grassi also offers free bike and e-bike hire. A kiosk provides visitors with tasty snacks and drinks. If the weather doesn't play ball, you can quickly make new friends in the cosy communal areas. In terms of leisure options, hiking excursions into the surrounding mountains are on the programme during the warmer months. The Niesen, which is over 2,350 metres high, is one of the most popular mountains in the Bernese Alps due to its shape and excellent views. The summit can be easily reached by cog railway. Around 11 kilometres south of Camping Grassi is the Elsighorn mountain. A climb to the 2,340 metre-high summit is rewarded with spectacular views. In the cold season, the ski area on the Elsigenalp promises winter fun with snow parks and child-friendly pistes.
