In the middle of the Gâtinais Français nature park, known for its forests, watercourses and rocky seas, Camping Ile de Boulancourt is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The peaceful eco-campsite with a communal area, rental accommodation and a tree-lined meadow for caravans and motorhomes is located in the tranquil village of Boulancourt in the Île-de-France region. Squirrels and ducks can be observed at the campsite, while swans frolic in the nearby River Essonne. The surrounding nature park is ideal for long hikes and cycle tours. In addition to bike hire, the holiday complex also offers a charging station for electric vehicles and bouldering mats for hire. Around 25 kilometres north of the campsite is the forest area of Fontainebleau, which is known far beyond France as the Mecca of bouldering and climbing with its thousands of bizarre sandstone blocks.
