Only two narrow strips of dunes connect the Giens peninsula to the mainland. The popular windsurfing and kitesurfing area on the French Côte d'Azur is also a favourite breeding ground for migratory birds. Wild coasts, small bays, fine beaches and shady pine forests await visitors around Camping International. A beautiful destination that delights holidaymakers with numerous water sports options. While couples spend romantic hours at the small harbour of Niel, nature lovers can watch the birds at Pesquiers pond
With a manageable size of around 3 hectares, Camping International in the south of France is one of the smaller campsites along the Côte d'Azur. All the more reason for regular guests to appreciate the family atmosphere that prevails between wild bays and popular surfing spots. The pitches for campers and caravans, which are partly flat and partly on slightly sloping meadows, are separated from each other by small hedges and rows of reeds, which ensures a certain amount of privacy during your camping holiday. The family-friendly Camping International is also popular for its generous wellness facilities: guests can relax in the steam bath, whirlpool and heated swimming pool. Massages are also offered in the on-site spa. The rugged coastline of the Giens peninsula is just a short walk away, and the beautiful beach of L'Almanarre is only 400 metres from the campsite. Opposite the campsite, about 50 m away, holidaymakers have access to the bay of Almanarre, where they can try out various water sports. Even newcomers to the surfboard can try out this trendy sport during a camping holiday at the Spinout surf school. The Divin'Giens diving club invites you to discover the underwater world, where you can take part in diving excursions in the Port-Cros National Park. Families with children, on the other hand, will appreciate the creative children's entertainment programme and the colourful children's playground, where young guests will quickly make new friends. In the campsite's small grocery shop, holidaymakers can stock up on all the necessary high-quality ingredients to cook a local dinner in their own camper. If you prefer something a little more comfortable, hire a bike and visit the small restaurants in Giens and Hyères.
Through the gate at Place de la Rèpublice, you can reach the well-preserved medieval town centre of Hyères, which invites you to go on a relaxed shopping spree. Incidentally, there is an excellent view over the rooftops of Hyères from Place Saint-Paul, which can be reached via the steps on Place Massillon and small steep alleyways. The castle ruins above Hyères take visitors into a world of hidden treasures and honourable knights: the ideal excursion destination for families with children. Along the coast of La Madrague, a narrow and idyllic hiking trail leads along beaches and steep cliffs to the Ile Longue viewpoint. Even families with children can explore this without any problems and go on a wonderful tour to hidden bathing bays.
