The Kirchzarten campsite is located on a green area on the edge of the village and has 500 pitches ranging in size from 70 to 140 square metres. All pitches are equipped with an electricity connection for which a daily flat rate is charged. Comfort pitches also have a water and waste water connection. Those who value privacy can rent their own bathroom, depending on availability. Barrier-free sanitary facilities are also available. As an alternative to the classic pitch, the campsite offers a selection of rental accommodation with living and sleeping areas, bathroom, cooking facilities and satellite TV. Fully equipped caravans with awnings can be booked as well as mobile homes with a furnished terrace or balcony. All guests at Camping Kirchzarten can also enjoy free WLAN reception. Entertainment is provided by a sports entertainment programme with football, volleyball and archery. In the summer months, use of the neighbouring Dreisambad swimming pool with adventure pool, water slide and diving facility is also included. A tennis centre and mini golf course are available in the immediate vicinity of the campsite for a fee. Children can enjoy a playground, a playroom and a creative holiday programme with special theme days, craft activities and a mini disco. The "Zarduna" restaurant with its regional specialities provides gastronomic experiences. For self-catering holidaymakers, there is a camping market on site, which stocks groceries, fresh baked goods and camping supplies.

Tours lead through the picturesque Dreisamtal valley, for example, or up the Feldberg, which promises panoramic views across the peaks of the Black Forest to the Alps and the Vosges mountains. For longer discovery tours, holidaymakers can use the KONUS guest card, which allows free travel by bus and train throughout the Black Forest. There is a bus stop right by the campsite and the railway station is around 15 minutes' walk away. Popular excursion destinations include Freiburg, 11 kilometres away, with its historic old town around the cathedral, or Basel in Switzerland. Families can visit the Europapark Rust, while the Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum in Gutach provides an insight into rural life in past centuries.
