The surrounding area offers long walks through the countryside, picturesque beaches and a variety of hiking routes through wooded areas. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of activities such as tennis and mini golf. Camping La Brande is the perfect retreat for a relaxing and active holiday.

From June to September, some pitches are equipped with approximately 12 square meter sunshades and a beauty truck comes to the site once a week. Herb garden.

Camping La Brande is located just a few metres from the Atlantic Ocean, which at low tide exposes an extensive mudflat with exciting opportunities for discovery. At this campsite in south-west France, a fun pool ensures that children in particular have a great time. Swimmers can swim laps in the partially covered pool and sports entertainers offer attractive programmes such as aqua aerobics.
Situated on the island of Oleron in the municipality of Le Château-d'Oléron, Camping La Brande stretches out over flat meadows with lush vegetation and many tall trees. The island is located on the Bay of Biscay and is known for its kilometres of sandy beaches, fertile wetlands and the huge state forest. The holiday village has a total of 139 parcelled out pitches measuring a generous 125 to 200 square metres. All pitches have an electricity connection. A fridge and a private single cabin with shower, toilet and washbasin can be booked on request. The three public sanitary facilities are barrier-free and equipped with family-friendly facilities such as baby baths, changing tables and children's toilets. Motorhome owners dispose of waste water and cassette toilets at special service stations, where fresh water can also be refilled. Camping La Brande impresses with its natural atmosphere, where couples can also feel at home. Two barbecue areas are available for communal barbecues, and the campsite will win over active holidaymakers with its multi-purpose sports fields for basketball, volleyball, tennis, archery and mini golf. The little ones can let off steam in the playground, take part in fun children's picnics or paint and do arts and crafts in the mini club.
At Oleron, holiday guests often go on excursions into the wild and romantic landscape. For example, the holiday resort organises German-language bike tours, including to the local oyster farms, whose seafood is famous for its nutty flavour. Right next to Camping La Brande, the sea invites you to take long walks on the mudflats at low tide. Here you can not only collect wonderful mussels, but also observe wading birds such as sandpipers and herons. Those who love surfing will find a paradise with strong winds at Grande Plage on the south-west coast, just 6 kilometres away. The south of the island is also home to a dense forest with magnificent pine and oak trees. Numerous signposted forest paths lead to observation points where birds of prey and other wild animals can often be spotted.
