Incredibly good!
A top-notch campsite! Super modern sanitary facilities, plenty of offers for children, excellent reception, where even the brochures of attractions were sorted by distance! Friendly staff, helpful. Caution at the entrance: hard bump at the end of the parking lot.

Situated on the banks of the Loire in the heart of France, Camping La Grande Tortue invites you to enjoy a varied holiday. From the campsite, you can explore the beautiful castles of the holiday region.
Camping La Grande Tortue is located between vineyards and the famous royal castles on the banks of the Loire. Oak trees more than 100 years old provide shade. The 800-hectare forest is perfect for walks. Private sanitary facilities can be booked in addition to the large pitches. Mobile homes in various categories are also available at the campsite in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The luxurious Camping La Grande Tortue is equipped with an indoor swimming pool. Young holidaymakers will have a great time on the water slide, in the paddling pool and with the water games. While the little ones splash around to their heart's content, adults can enjoy the whirlpool. As part of the pool complex is covered, there is nothing to stop swimming fun even in bad weather. The large adventure playground makes children's eyes light up. During the high season, entertainers provide a varied programme. A pétanque and multifunctional court round off the leisure facilities. A restaurant and a grocery shop provide culinary delights.
At Camping La Grande Tortue, camping can be perfectly combined with a sightseeing tour through the enchanting Loire Valley. The campsite is only around 14 kilometres from Blois. Blois Castle towers over the picturesque old town. On a tour of the magnificent building, holidaymakers will be amazed by the splendid royal apartments. The façade pays homage to various architectural styles: elements from the Gothic, Neoclassical and Renaissance periods can be found. Opposite the castle is the next attraction, the Maison de la Magie. It is dedicated to the magical arts, and fascinating origami artworks can also be seen. The picturesque village of Candé-sur-Beuvron is within walking distance of the campsite. An old stone bridge leads to the village, which is known for its excellent wines. If you like cycling, take the Loire cycle path. It leads to famous buildings such as the Château de Chaumont, 7 kilometres from the campsite. The baroque masterpiece Château de Cheverny can also be reached by bike. The 25 kilometre ride is well worth it. Bikes can be hired at the campsite. One excursion tip for families is the ZooParc de Beauval. It is home to one of the largest penguin enclosures in Europe, a large aquarium and several tropical houses. A cable car takes visitors comfortably from one part to the other, where they can enjoy a wonderful view of the animals. Families and culture lovers will find their paradise at Camping La Grande Tortue. The campsite on the banks of the Loire offers a large swimming area and numerous play facilities for young holidaymakers. Due to its location on the Loire cycle path, cyclists also like to book a pitch.
