Camping La Mariposa is located in the north of the Sardinian city of Alghero, the centre of which can be reached by a long walk. We recommend visiting the Chiesa di San Francisco and the cathedral of Alghero. Tours to the Nuraghe Palmavera and the necropolis of Anghelu Ruju are also very popular with those interested in culture and history. Both sites from the Bronze Age and early antiquity can now be explored on guided tours. The campsite in the north-west of the Italian Mediterranean island is located directly on a picturesque stretch of fine sandy beach just a few metres away. The nearby Porto Conte Nature Park impresses with its unspoilt landscape to the west of the site. However, Camping La Mariposa is not only characterised by its excellent location, but also by its full range of facilities.
