There is hardly a better way to experience Italy's famous dolce vita than at Camping Le Capanne. The family-friendly campsite is located in Bibione, the popular seaside resort on the Adriatic.
The youngest visitors usually meet Camping Le Capanne's mascot Freddy as soon as they arrive. The penguin character is at home in the lovingly designed Freddyland. In the baby area, the youngest children up to the age of four feel right at home. Fun entertainment for children aged five to 14 takes place in the Kids Room. Children can let their imaginations run wild in creative workshops. Sports tournaments and mini disco are further items on the programme. If the weather is bad, children can meet in the Games Room to entertain themselves with video games. Or how about an afternoon at Legoland? Here you can build figures, houses and more. There is also a children's cinema on the campsite. Water rats will love spending the day in the 1,100 m² water park. Wooden bridges lead over the water. There are slides, paddling pools and a whirlpool to relax in. Those who prefer sport can take advantage of the fitness courses. Spinning and aqua gymnastics are perfect for meeting like-minded people. You can also book massages and other treatments at Camping Le Capanne.
Camping Le Capanne shows how environmentally friendly travelling can be. A large proportion of the electricity used at the campsite comes from photovoltaic panels. An electric charging station is available for holidaymakers arriving by electric vehicle. What's more, the catering is largely plastic-free. Packaging, cutlery and containers made from recyclable materials are used in the restaurant, at the bar and in the mini-market. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the food in the restaurant tastes so good. Gourmets start the day with a breakfast buffet. For lunch and dinner, there is pizza, specialities from Tuscany and much more. Highchairs, toys and an adapted menu are available for the little ones. The Piazza Grande is the campsite's favourite meeting place. Weekly markets with regional products are held here in summer. Il Caffé del Borgo is the name of the bar, which serves espresso and other hot drinks as well as cool beverages. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in a sweet treat at the Gelateria del Borgo. The La Bottega mini-market sells camping and hygiene articles, food and toys. The campsite offers a free shuttle bus to the beach, 2.5 kilometres away. Families feel at home on the wide beach. There is also a dog beach, which is around 600 metres long. The campsite co-operates with the Jolly Beach lido in Forte di Marina di Bibbiona. Guests are welcome to hire sunbeds and parasols here.
