A trip to the Marais Poitevin, 10 kilometres from the campsite, with its romantic villages and unique flora is recommended for nature lovers. The marsh region is known as "the green Venice" because of its numerous canals. Hundreds of kilometres of cycle paths criss-cross this natural paradise.
