A picturesque backdrop spreads out in front of Camping Manor Farm 1, characterised by the towering mountain peaks and the bright blue of Lake Thun. Just a few kilometres west of Interlaken, guests can enjoy the harmonious atmosphere at the campsite all year round, the views and the active leisure activities on offer. Swimming or skiing, pedalo tours and minigolf: all this and more is possible here.
Camping Manor Farm 1 is located on the eastern shore of Lake Thun and is open all year round. Guests can enjoy breakfast in front of their motorhome or caravan with a view of the imposing peaks of the Eiger, Jungfrau and Mönch. The campsite itself is located at an altitude of 560 metres and extends over eight hectares. Guests can choose one of 280 parcelled-out pitches. These generally have a gravel base or grass edging stones and measure between 50 and 100 square metres. The camping site is divided into two areas, separated by a road. However, thanks to the subway, guests can easily reach all pitches. The many sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly, which ensures a successful stay and is appreciated by satisfied camping guests. The campsite's own supermarket is also very popular. Here holidaymakers can find everything they need for breakfast, dinner and snacks. In the nearby restaurant "Pizzeria Landhaus" and in the restaurant "Neuhaus", camping guests who want to leave the oven off during their holidays can indulge themselves. After dinner, you can relax with a drink in the Laguna Beach Bar or take a siesta on the pebble beach before heading back for a swim in Lake Thun. Sporty holidaymakers can burn off the calories playing beach volleyball or hire a rowing boat for a trip along the picturesque shore. In addition to the large playground, young holidaymakers can also enjoy several small play areas and a mini golf course. Four-legged friends are welcome at the dog-friendly campsite.
The excursion options around the Manor Farm 1 campsite are varied, whatever the season. During the winter months, guests can choose from several ski resorts in the surrounding area. For example, the Beatenberg-Niederhorn-Hohwald winter sports area with around 22 kilometres of pistes is around 15 km north-west of the campsite. Travelling the same distance to the south-east, keen alpinists can reach the much larger Jungfrau Ski Region Grindelwald-Wengen. Here, skiers and snowboarders can expect 155 kilometres of groomed downhill pistes. The snow-free season also offers attractive excursion destinations. A visit to the St. Beatus Caves is well worthwhile. The stalactite cave system can be visited from mid-March to November. The well-maintained and illuminated circular trail is a good 1 km long and leads past fascinating rock formations.
