Live Merano Camping

Located on the central Piavestraße, Live Merano Camping is just 500 metres from the Laubengasse shopping street and closer to the pulse of the spa town than many hotels. The bathing terraces on the River Passer in the town centre are barely a 10-minute walk away.

Live Merano Camping: enjoy freedom in the heart of a green city

It is the view of the impressive three-thousand metre peaks of the Texel Group and the green mountains on the flanks of the Mediterranean Adige Valley that makes the Live Merano Camping site so unique. The cosy and attractively parcelled out area is also very centrally located to sights such as the Prince's Castle, the Kurhaus, the Laubengasse and the Puccini Theatre. At the bus stop just 50 metres away, campers can set off on excursions to the gardens and Trauttmansdorff Castle or to Dorf Tirol, from where hiking trails lead into the Texel Group Nature Park. Live Merano Camping has 120 pitches for caravans, caravans and motorhomes. Dogs are allowed and the entire site is barrier-free. The campsite has its own swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy the modern Merano Thermal Baths with numerous temperature-controlled indoor and outdoor pools. If you want to take in the mountain scenery on a bike tour along the River Adige, you can hire a bike from the campsite free of charge. The South Tyrolean cycle path network is just as exemplary as the network of hiking trails around the Marlinger, Algunder and Maiser Waalweg. Fans of the fairway will find a golf course around 11 kilometres away. The Hippodrom racecourse, one of the largest in Italy, is also close to the campsite.
