Camping Miravalle

Camping Miravalle is located in the Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige in the province of Trento at an altitude of around 1,448 metres. The next largest municipality is Campitello di Fassa with more than 700 inhabitants. It is just 100 metres away and can therefore be easily reached on foot. Around the Fassa Valley, where Camping Miravalle is located, high mountains tower into the sky and invite you to go on long hikes or mountain climbing in the summer months. Around the turn of the year, the ski resorts of South Tyrol, which can be reached by car in a short time, open their doors. The complex comprises a total of 156 parcelled pitches measuring between 60 and 80 m². There are also seven rental accommodations and 28 pitches for permanent campers on a total area of 3 hectares. The standard facilities at the campsite, which is known for its informal and sociable atmosphere, include washing machines and tumble dryers so that campers can wash their clothes even during a longer stay. There is also a children's playground and a baby changing room, which is particularly useful for young families. The entertainment programme and riding lessons with horses and ponies are also popular with youngsters. For older holidaymakers, on the other hand, golfing in the picturesque Alpine panorama is very popular. The resort also has a snack bar, a restaurant, a supermarket and a fully equipped communal kitchen.

Favourite excursion destinations in the Italian Alps

Numerous iconic mountains around the Val di Fassa are ideal for day trips. Col Rodella, for example, is particularly popular and is suitable for both skiing and paragliding. The 2,964 metre high Plattkofel is a paradise for hikers and mountaineers and rewards sports enthusiasts with a spectacular view from the summit. Lake Antermoia is also worth a visit. The mountain lake not only offers an impressive photo motif, but also promises a welcome opportunity to cool off in summer. For travellers who are prepared to make a longer journey, a trip to Venice, around 200 km to the south, is well worthwhile, with its spectacular sights including St Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace.
