Sustainability-focussed campsite with saltwater pool and regional cuisine
The family-run Camping Moosbauer is located below a wooded slope on an area of around 1.2 hectares surrounded by greenery. The 89 pitches, ranging in size from 80 to 160 square metres, are separated from each other by hedges and have electricity, Wi-Fi and satellite TV as well as fresh water and waste water connections. The four deluxe pitches have a private bathroom. An absolute speciality is the first educational sanitary building in Europe, which uses photos, posters and various exhibits to highlight different facets of South Tyrol. At reception there is an internet point, e-bike hire and valuable tips on hikes, excursions and events. The delicacies on offer in the shop and in the restaurant surrounded by apple trees at Camping Moosbauer are regional, seasonal and of high quality. Menu evenings with the campsite butcher, lectures on holistic cooking, educational tastings and barbecue and beer brewing seminars combine sustainability with pure enjoyment. You can even harvest your own grapes in the grape tunnel and raised beds, while an urban gardening lounge invites you to linger. If you like, you can go for a swim in the complex's saltwater pool and then relax on the sunbathing lawn. Younger guests can look forward to their own children's pool, a playground and a variety of activities during the Moosbauer children's summer.
