Camping Nord Sam is a green holiday paradise on the north-eastern edge of Salzburg. This campsite is ideal for those interested in culture to visit the city of Mozart, but also for families who want to go on excursions into the surrounding countryside on foot or by bike.
The family-run campsite is located just 3 kilometres outside the historic old town of Salzburg and is an excellent starting point for visiting the Hohensalzburg Fortress or Mozart's birthplace. The bus stops directly at the holiday village and takes guests to the city centre within 15 minutes. Active guests can hire a bike at the campsite and cover the route along the rushing Salzach river on two wheels. For swimming fans, the campsite has an outdoor pool with sun terrace and sun loungers. There is also an outdoor playground for the little ones to have fun. The grounds of Camping Nord Sam are divided by green hedges, colourful ornamental shrubs and tall deciduous trees, offering plenty of privacy on the 100 parcelled-out pitches. The sanitary facilities with shower rooms, individual shower cubicles and baby facilities have been recently renovated and can be heated. There is a mini-market at the reception as well as a café where camping travellers can stock up on bread rolls and drinks or have breakfast on the flowered terrace. If you want to go on an extended cycle tour from the campsite, you can follow the Mozart Cycle Path into the picturesque Salzburg Lake District or along Hellbrunner Allee to Berchtesgaden. Families with children of all ages love a trip to the Hallein Salt Mine.
