Site
The natural, predominantly hilly terrain with shrubs and trees extends down to the sea, where there is a boat harbor. From the pitches on steep terraces, there is a wide view. At the motel of the same name, near the ferry pier.

A bathing bay about 50 m long and up to 10 m wide, divided by a rock.

Nature camping with a large fishing centre
Camping travellers can reach the offshore island of Leka by ferry from Gutvik on the island of Austra, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. The holiday village is located around 3 km south-west of the ferry terminal on a hilly terrain. The 33 pitches are partly arranged on steep terraces and offer far-reaching views over the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. NAF Camping on Leka also has several rental cabins and a motel building with a well-equipped kitchen, sanitary facilities with hot showers and a launderette for camping enthusiasts. Guests can chat to each other or watch TV in the cosy common room. The campsite is located in one of Norway's most popular deep-sea fishing areas and therefore attracts amateur fishermen in particular. On the east coast of Leka there are huge stocks of saithe, herring and redfish. The halibut are particularly impressive here with their spectacular sizes of over 150 kilograms. There are 32 motorboats for hire for anglers or adventurous souls who want to explore the rocky bays and fjords. At the site's own harbour, successful excursionists have access to a filleting hut with freezers for hire, where they can process and freeze their catch. Those interested in the geology of the island can visit the nearby Leka Steinsenter free of charge as a guest of NAF Camping on Leka.
