There are 100 pitches available for holidaymakers on the 2.5-hectare site, some of which are parcelled out. The pitches are between 60-100 square metres in size and are separated by hedges and trees, so you can always enjoy a high degree of privacy. Modern sanitary facilities as well as water and electricity connections are just as much a part of the facilities as washing facilities and Wi-Fi on parts of the pitch. While there is a playground for younger guests, the countless nature excursion destinations in the region are popular with all age groups. The 115-kilometre-long, nationally renowned Malerweg trail, which also runs past the campsite, stretches along unspoilt landscapes. The neighbouring Saxon Switzerland National Park is also a true hiker's paradise. The reception staff will be happy to advise guests on the wide selection of routes. One of the most popular day trips is a ride on the Kirnitzschtal railway to the impressive Lichtenhain waterfall. The Elbe cycle path can also be reached quickly from the campsite, making an extensive cycle tour a popular activity. Whatever the weather, we recommend a visit to the Toscana Therme in Bad Schandau, just 4 kilometres away. The cosy, warm thermal pools and sauna area are the perfect place to relax.
