Yelloh! Village Panorama du Pyla

The Yelloh! Village Panorama du Pyla enchants sea lovers in particular with its truly unique location. Situated directly south of the Dune du Pilat, Europe's highest shifting sand dune at around 100 metres, it offers unforgettable views of the dune, offshore sandbanks and the Atlantic Ocean itself. The nearest sandy beach can be reached directly at the foot of the dune via a flight of steps.

Beach camping with lots of extras

The Yelloh! Village Panorama du Pyla welcomes its visitors with a breathtaking view over the coast at Pyla-sur-Mer, right next to the famous Bassin d'Arcachon. The site offers 333 parcelled-out pitches, often in the shade of the region's typical pine trees. Even the path to the beach is impressive, as it leads directly to the foot of the dune via a steep staircase. For those who find the ascent and descent too arduous, the heated outdoor pools at the campsite offer a good alternative for swimming. The bathing area is surrounded by a 1200 m² sunbathing area and is complemented by a wellness area. Here guests can fully relax in the whirlpool or sauna. Not only body and soul are pampered here, but also the palate. The restaurant and the Yelloh! Village Panorama du Pyla ensure that culinary wishes are also fulfilled. There is also a supermarket on site for self-catering. The campsite is particularly popular with families with children. To ensure that guests can always communicate their concerns, the campsite staff speak German and English as well as French.

The Dune du Pilat and the Bassin dArcachon

The offer outside the campsite is also overwhelming. Climbing the Dune du Pilat is an adventure and offers great photo opportunities. In the Bassin d'Arcachon, nature lovers and beach enthusiasts as well as gourmets get their money's worth. While the latter enjoy the famous oyster farm, beach fans can savour the long Atlantic beach. Nature lovers, on the other hand, will love the more than 150 different bird species. If you want to fly weightlessly like a bird, paragliding is just the thing for you. The region around the dunes is well-known and popular with paragliders. Guests can also make fast progress on the water. In July and August, they can visit and tour both Cap Ferret and the Banc-dArguin island reserve on the regular scheduled boat service. Bordeaux, around 60 kilometres away, is ideal for a day trip.
