In the heart of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park, the Lüneburg Heath Camping Park welcomes nature fans, families and bathing beauties. It is located by a natural bathing lake with clear water.
The Lüneburg Heath Camping Park was created with great attention to detail. The marvellous fauna provides a species-appropriate habitat for butterflies and other insects. An idyllic rippling can be heard on many pitches. It comes from a small stream with a waterfall where birds can be seen bathing. Holidaymakers can relax in the sound garden next to reception and listen to the sounds of nature. From summer to autumn, the snack garden is a popular meeting place. Here, holidaymakers pick raspberries, blackberries and blueberries for a delicious dessert or as a snack between meals. When the weather is nice, young and old are drawn to the natural swimming lake. The little ones can play carefree on the sandy beach. Swimmers are drawn to the bathing raft. There is also a water playground at the campsite. Holidaymakers hope to strike it lucky at the gold panning facility. Camping-Park Lüneburger Heide has a heart for animals: four-legged guests can let off steam in the dog exercise area. Afterwards, a refreshing bath in the dog shower. The rental accommodation is luxuriously equipped. There is also a large selection of pitches, ranging from simple pitches to spacious XXL variants with drinking water, waste water and electricity connections. A restaurant provides guests with all kinds of culinary delights during their stay.
With its prime location in Schneverdingen in the Hamburg metropolitan region, Camping-Park Lüneburger Heide is an ideal starting point for hikes and cycle tours. The town is surrounded by vast areas of heathland, which are in bloom from July to September. However, the Lüneburg Heath is not only famous for its purple-coloured flowers, but also for the adorable Heidschnucken sheep that graze along the cycle paths and hiking trails. You don't necessarily have to book a stay at the campsite in late summer to see the heather in bloom. This is possible all year round in the heather garden in the Höpen nature reserve, where 200 different species can be seen. Nature fans can also plan a tour of the Pietmoor. The circular trail is around 5 kilometres long and leads through the fascinating moorland landscape. The Lüneburg Heath is a paradise for cyclists. There are family-friendly, short circular tours as well as long-distance cycle routes to choose from. There are also good shopping facilities and restaurants in the climatic health resort of Schnevendingen. The Heidjers Wohl indoor pool is perfect for rainy days and there is no better way to experience the Lüneburg Heath with all your senses than at the Lüneburg Heath Camping Park. A bathing lake invites you to cool off, and there is also a snack garden and numerous play facilities for children on the site. Thanks to its excellent location, the pitches are popular with cyclists on tours through the heathland.
