Guests can experience pure nature at any time of year at Camping Pradafenz. A warm welcome awaits holidaymakers at the campsite in the municipality of Churwalden in the popular Lenzerheide holiday region.
Camping Pradafenz offers an ideal introduction to the Lenzerheide holiday region. The campsite is located right next to the valley station of the Pradaschier mountain railway. In summer, you can reach the popular Dreibündenstein hiking region in no time at all. A 50 km network of hiking trails caters to all holiday wishes. The Pradaschier adventure mountain has a lot to offer families: At 3,060 metres, it is home to the longest year-round toboggan run in Switzerland. It takes you down into the valley at speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour. Adventurous holidaymakers can try the zipline and enjoy the view of the mountains during the two-minute ride. In winter, holidaymakers practically strap on their skis in front of the motorhome: A practice slope is right next to the campsite. The slopes on the Pradaschier are perfect for families. After a day in the snow, winter sports enthusiasts can use the ski and boot drying room at the campsite. This means they have warm winter sports equipment ready for the next day in the snow.
Camping Pradafenz has been around since 1978 and has been continuously expanded. The family-run business can look back on many years of experience. The pitches are located on a well-tended meadow. Most of them are equipped with electricity, fresh water, waste water and internet connections. There are two well-maintained, state-of-the-art sanitary facilities. Culinary delights are provided by a restaurant. There are Grisons specialities, spaetzle, burgers and much more. There is a supermarket just three minutes' walk from the campsite. Active guests like to use the campsite for extended tours. The Churwalden and Lenzerheide Arosa bike trails cover 305 kilometres. The downhill descent from Alp Stätz ends directly at the campsite. Hikers can also choose from the 305-kilometre network of trails. The tennis court just 300 metres from the campsite invites you to practise your forehand and backhand. There is also an 18-hole golf course in the immediate vicinity. On hot summer days, the Heidsee lake is a favourite place to cool off in the refreshing water. Churwalden offers an extensive leisure programme for families. Several playgrounds invite you to let off steam.
The big plus point of the Pradafenz campsite is definitely its location next to the mountain railway. As the campsite is open all year round, it is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts during the cold season. In summer, nature lovers can enjoy the well-developed network of hiking and cycling trails in the Lenzerheide holiday region.
