Just 800 metres from the centre of the popular seaside resort of Salou on the Spanish Costa Daurada, the 30-hectare Camping & Resort Sangulí is located directly on the beach. The free Trenet mini-train provides convenient transport from the 940 pitches, which range in size from 75 to 145 square metres, to the public areas. Self-catering guests can buy food in the three supermarkets on the extensive campsite, which also offer gluten-free, lactose-free and organic products. Freshly baked bread rolls for breakfast are also available here. Guests can buy souvenirs in a small shop. The Victòria, Sangulí and Tàrraco restaurants and several snack bars spoil you with Spanish and international dishes. Only a few steps separate Camping & Resort Sangulí from the golden sandy beach, where the Blue Flag flies due to the excellent water quality. When water lovers aren't splashing around on the gently sloping shores of the Mediterranean, they can be found in the aqua park. The Àfrica Pool is adorned with life-size elephant and hippo figures, while the Happy Pool and the Guli Pool are attractions for children with slides and other attractions. Right next to the Relax Pool is the large amphitheatre, where exciting shows and dance performances take place in the evenings. Theme parties, craft workshops and many other activities attract the youngest guests to the mini club. While the little ones meet new friends, adults can take part in aerobics classes in the fitness room, recharge their batteries with yoga in summer or train their strength and fitness in the fitness centre.

Holiday activities around Salou

Those interested in culture should take a stroll through Salou, which is just 800 metres from the campsite. On the Passeig de Jaume I beach promenade, you can see the magnificent "Casa Bonet", which was designed by a pupil of star architect Antoni Gaudí. Families are drawn to the spectacular "PortAventura Resort". This superlative amusement park thrills with the "Furius Baco", one of the fastest rollercoasters in Europe, and many other rides. Cambrils, just a 15-minute drive from Camping & Resort Sangulí, is also a great destination for a day trip. The Vilafortuny castle there is a relic from the Middle Ages that is well worth seeing. A palm garden invites you to relax.
