Camping Saint Aygulf Plage in Provence in the south of France is perfect for beach lovers thanks to its close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. The enchanting Mediterranean landscape around Saint Aygulf also invites you to go on long hikes between reddish cliffs and subtropical vegetation. Families and couples will feel particularly at home at the clean, green campsite thanks to the wide range of recreation and activities on offer.
The location on the north-eastern edge of Saint Aygulf provides good access to the local infrastructure. Restaurants, shops, pharmacies, a post office, the harbour and a large Provençal market on the town square are all available to holidaymakers. The south-west of the region consists of wild mountainous terrain and to the north-west the river Argens meanders through a vast cultural landscape. Not far from the campsite is the Plage de la Galiote beach, where you can enjoy a relaxing swim every day on the French Riviera. The small beach delights families with its gentle access to the sea and numerous restaurants, cafés and a public shower. The campsite has 700 pitches and 380 rental accommodations. The 100 square metre, planted pitches are spread over a total area of 22 hectares. Services include emptying the cassette toilets, electricity connections, washing machines and dishwashing sinks. The pool, golf course and a multi-purpose sports field offer a wide range of sports activities on site. A children's playground on the grounds and an entertainment programme guarantee that even the youngest guests will have a carefree holiday in the south of France. There is a restaurant and a grocery shop on site to provide good catering. In the evening, a disco organises dancing fun, giving the younger generation the opportunity to meet new people.
8 to 10 kilometres further north-east, the towns of Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël offer spectacular sights such as the neo-Byzantine basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Victoire. Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël also offer great places to stop for a bite to eat and enjoy Provençal specialities. Just 4 kilometres away is the well-equipped Aqualand Fréjus with swimming attractions for the whole family. There are also countless attractions and sights to visit in the region. The Saint Aygulf marina is also located in the immediate vicinity of the Plage de la Galiote beach. In addition to boats and yachts with or without a skipper, jet skis can also be hired there for unlimited speed on the open sea.
