Domaine de l'Étang de Bazange in the French municipality of Monfaucon is located between picturesque vineyards and woodland about 10 kilometres from a beautiful lake. This lake is ideal for swimming and also attracts many anglers. The campsite also has an outdoor pool with paddling pool and large water slide for the children. There is also a great playground and an entertainment programme. Bike hire is available to explore the beautiful natural surroundings. The campsite also has a multi-purpose sports field and a sports programme. A snack bar with a bread roll service provides catering and WLAN is also available in the reception area.

Camping in the vineyards
The large campsite covers 10 hectares of woodland and a large fishing pond. In addition to pitches, campers can choose from a wide range of rental accommodation, from cottages with several rooms to floating cabins on the pond. Right next to the pond is the swimming complex, consisting of a large swimming pool and three large water slides. Here, young and old alike can have fun and cool off. The sports field invites you to play ball games and the children can have fun on the playgrounds. A comprehensive entertainment programme is also on offer: from handicraft workshops and water gymnastics to night hikes, there is something for every age group and taste. Many of the workshops on offer teach children in particular about nature while they make insect hotels, for example.

There is also plenty to experience outside the campsite: Campers can explore the beautiful natural surroundings on their own by bike or on foot. Two nearby rivers are ideal for canoeing or kayaking. There are also numerous bathing spots: there are two bathing lakes and a beach near the campsite, which can provide a change from the swimming pool at home. The nearby riding stable makes it possible to experience the vineyards from horseback. Another highlight for campers without a fear of heights? If you would like to see nature from above, you can fly over the vineyards in a hot air balloon.
