The site near Älmhult is picturesquely situated on a headland of the lake under tall old deciduous trees. The small sandy beach with sunbathing lawn is a wonderful place to relax and swim. There is a separate section of beach for guests with dogs. It's great to discover the lush nature by canoe or bike. Beach volleyball and minigolf are available on site. A golf course is 3 km away. The restaurant terrace offers a romantic view of the spectacular sunset. There is a supermarket in Älmhult. There, the IKEA museum also invites you to discover the history of the furniture giant.

No longer recommended with the new operator
How can you 'improve' such a good place so badly - with the takeover of First Camp, the showers were renovated, but are now cramped with always wet floors and have lost all Swedish charm. There is no real responsible contact person on site, everything seems aimed at profit maximization - every inch … More

The campsite offers the hire of canoes, kayaks, rowing boats, SUPs and pedalos for exploring the water with the whole family.
