On the 17-hectare, well-kept meadow site there are 450 spacious pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. There are also fully equipped caravans for hire with spacious awnings. The pitches are 80 - 140m² in size and have connections for water, grey water and electricity. Many of the pitches are also equipped with WLAN. Motorhome drivers can park their vehicle outside the barrier, with supply and waste disposal on the pitch. Tent campers can spend the night on their own tent pitch or on the standard pitch for large tents. Fully equipped caravans with kitchen, fridge, furniture and television are also available for hire. Alternatively, you can also spend your camping holiday in the comfortable and rainproof bungalow tents with gas cookers for hire. The campsite's amenities also include a grocery shop and a restaurant. The campsite also boasts clean sanitary facilities, a baby changing room and wheelchair-accessible toilets and showers.

Relaxed holiday atmosphere and a huge range of leisure activities

One of the reasons why Camping Südstrand is so popular is the huge range of leisure activities on offer. Beach holidaymakers and water sports enthusiasts feel right at home here. The Baltic coast of Fehmarn is ideal for swimming, sailing and windsurfing. If you want to take a trip into the fascinating underwater world, the resort's diving centre is just the place for you. The campsite offers an exciting sports and entertainment programme not only on water, but also on land. One of the highlights is the challenging high ropes course with spectacular obstacles up to 12 metres high. A climbing tower awaits the youngest holidaymakers. The 6,500 m² nature playground with the giant swing "Tarzanschwinger", a water playground and a labyrinth also provides fun for younger guests. An extensive leisure programme is offered during the summer months: Guests can play beach volleyball or streetball together or take part in family games on the beach. In the evenings, live music creates a lively atmosphere. There is also an extensive children's entertainment programme. Under the watchful eye of experienced carers, the youngest guests meet up in the witches' house for magic or craft workshops and other exciting events. In the Augenweide willow pavilion, holidaymakers of all ages can make new friends at storytelling sessions or hands-on concerts for children, folklore dances, drumming workshops or belly dancing classes.

Fehmarn is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful German islands in the Baltic Sea and, with its extensive beaches and fascinating dune landscapes, a true paradise for nature lovers and hikers in particular. The 184 km² German island has a marvellous 78 km long coastline and is also ideal for cycling tours. The well-developed circular route leads directly along the shore and passes unspoilt beaches and impressive cliffs. The Wallnau waterfowl reserve is also worth a visit. Thousands of birds breed here every autumn, offering the best conditions for exciting and educational bird watching. The long, fine sandy beaches, most of which are shallow, are perfect for families with children. There is also a separate dog beach at the campsite. Wellness is not neglected on Fehmarn either. In the Fehmare bathing and adventure world, guests can relax in the sauna, steam bath or seawater pool and enjoy fantastic views of the south beach. The bathing world is within walking distance of the campsite.
