The washroom was fine, but why do you have to pay for washing dishes? In front of the snack bar, there was a large tent for events, which meant you couldn't s… More

A campsite in a dream location!
The location right by the lake is great, but more attention should be paid to adhering to the campsite rules, e.g., nighttime quiet or the ban on grilling with charcoal during wildfire danger level 5!

The idyllic Bergwitzsee Resort impresses with its natural setting. There are always fantastic views of the lake from the forest. Thanks to its unique beach location, the resort is ideal for boaters and couples planning a romantic beach holiday. Families with children are also very welcome here, as there are playgrounds and childcare facilities for the little ones.
If you are looking for relaxation in nature, this holiday resort is the perfect place for you. The resort is located in a wooded area directly on the shores of Lake Bergwitz near Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The small town of Bergwitz with grocery shopping facilities is only 1 km away. Holidaymakers can look forward to 100 pitches close to the shore on the 11-hectare camping site. There are also 250 pitches for permanent campers. The individual pitches are between 50 and 120 m² in size. The centrepiece of the holiday resort, where dogs are also allowed, is the Bergwitzsee lake. The accessible, private area is around 50 metres long. Those seeking relaxation can unwind on the well-tended sunbathing lawns. The cosy campsite by the lake offers water sports enthusiasts numerous opportunities to pursue their hobby. Boats can be hired on site. There is also a jetty with moorings for the safe storage of boats. The convenient facilities at the campsite include WLAN at reception and in the restaurant. There are also laundry and dishwashing facilities. If you don't feel like catering for yourself, you can dine in the small restaurant. Holidaymakers can also fortify themselves at the beach snack bar.
The area around the campsite also contributes to a great holiday. The numerous cycling and hiking trails are the best way to explore the Düben Heath with its floodplains, moors and forests. The R1 European cycle route and the Berlin-Leipzig cycle route pass right by the Bergwitzsee lake. Those interested in art and culture will also find many interesting leisure activities in the region. Wittenberg, for example, with its famous castle church where Martin Luther posted his 95 theses, is only a short distance away. Ferropolis, the "city of iron", is also just a stone's throw away. The huge excavators are not only exciting contemporary witnesses, but also form an impressive backdrop for various events. Dessau with its Bauhaus architecture, Oranienbaum with its castle and Wörlitz Park with its unique horticultural art are other great excursion destinations nearby.
