Camping Valira has been family-owned for many decades. The experienced hosts fulfil their guests' every wish during their stay in the small principality of Andorra.
If you want to spend a holiday in the open air in Andorra, you will find a cosy temporary home at Camping Valira. The campsite enjoys a privileged location in the Pyrenees. To the delight of winter sports enthusiasts, it is also open during the cold season. During this period, guests use the pitches for a skiing holiday. The popular Granvalira ski resort is only half an hour's drive from the campsite, covering 210 kilometres. In summer and winter, guests at Camping Valira can relax in the indoor pool. The heated pool is open all year round. There is also a small whirlpool where water jets gently relieve tension. The family-run campsite also has a heart for children: there is a children's playground for the youngest visitors. This makes it easy to make new friends at the campsite. This is also made possible by the barbecue areas, where you can prepare meals together. The pétanque court is fun: holidaymakers can test their marksmanship at this French game. In summer, guests also like to bring their bikes to the campsite: Andorra is an insider tip for cycling enthusiasts. The challenging mountain passes inspire racing cyclists and mountain bikers. There is a bike hire shop in Andorra la Vella where you can hire traditional bikes and e-bikes.
Camping Valira's location is enchanting: it is in the middle of nature and yet in the centre. Holidaymakers can reach the capital of Andorra, Andorra la Vella, on foot within 15 minutes. One of the famous sights is the church of Sant Esteve: the baroque altarpieces are works of art. The Casa de la Vall, which translates as "house of the valley", is also impressive. The stone house from the 16th century stands out with its defence tower. Today it houses the parliament. There are also numerous shopping opportunities in the town. Guests can also buy ingredients for their daily meals in the small supermarket directly on the campsite. Groceries and basic camping equipment are available here. The nearest bus stop is around 50 metres from the campsite. This means holidaymakers can easily reach many destinations by public transport. A taxi can be booked at reception. The dedicated staff also provide codes for the WLAN. The pitches are located on a well-kept meadow. They are separated from each other by low stone walls. There are many trees on the campsite. The area, which is partly laid out in terraces, covers around 2.5 hectares.
